- All age categories are applicable to the lifter on the day of the meet.
- Example:
- Lifter aged 17 on the day they lift at a meet can lift in Teenage Men (16-17)
- Lifter aged 39 on the day they lift at a meet, but has a birthday the following day can lift in Open section
- Records set in any age category, if they are the highest, will be the OPEN record, as well as the age category record.
- The Senior and Sub-Masters category is for record purposes only. There is no such division in any meet.
- The lifter must be a current financial member to have a record ratified.
- National records can only be claimed at State titles or National Competitions
- World records can only be claimed at National Compeitions
- Fourth attempts are for record purposes only and do not count towards your total.
National Records
Website records are updated automatically once the scoresheet has been received. You do not need an application for a national record to be updated on the website.
WPC World Records
At the competition you must notify the table before your lift that you are attempting a WPC world record. You MUST complete a WPC world record application form ON THE DAY OF COMPETITION as you will need the signatures of all the referees. Once the form is completed hand it to a CAPO Official at the table. If you do not do this on the day of competition, your world record will not be recognised. GPA World Records
At the competition you must notify the table before your lift that you are attempting a GPA world record. Application for GPA world records will be sent off automatically once the scoresheet has been received. If you would like a certificate of your GPA world record, you will need to complete the application form AVAILABLE AT THE COMPETITION. The list of GPA world records can be found by clicking here.
